Wet N WILD - Comfort Zone
First of all I just have to say I bought this palette by myself and Wet N Wild does not know that I am doing this review. All these thoughts are my own. So lets get to it.
I believe this was the first drugstore palette purchase and the best in my opinion. These shadows are sooo buttery smooth. Highly pigmented. What I love about this palette is that is it affordable about $5! How awesome is that?!
These colors work well in any order you wish. They are labeled and can help you but remember makeup is a creative experience and it's completely up to you. For example for the look above I used the warmer "eyelid" color in my crease and deepened it with the next warm "crease" shade and even deeper defined the look with the warmer"definer" shade.
Lastly I packed the lighter "browbone" color all over the lid. I love this palette for its versatility. I have used this in sooooo many ways! I challenge you to take this palette to another level by using them wet to make them more intense also be sure to try different color combination. These palettes are must have for any makeup lover. Remember with almost any eyeshadow there is fallout depending on the amount you pick up and darker shades look best on dark bases and lighter/ brighter tones with lighter bases. ( TIP: the dark cooler definer shade is a DUPE for MAC's brown blue pigment)
Back in 2001 Lit Cosmetics was born!
Ive been on the hunt for shadows similar to that of the notorious Venus Palette and I ended up saving a fortune. Lime Crime was selling theirs at $42 dollars plus shipping and handling. I purchased my shadows plus more at about $2 dollars a piece! What a steal. Coastal Scents is at it again. Creating your custom palettes is just so simple and affordable. I definitely will be purchasing more in the future. Until then let's get into it.
As many of you know the Venus Palette contains 8 shadows well I ended up finding a wide range of Shadows quite similar but for this post I thought I'd narrow it down to those eight.
I was so excited to purchase these lipsticks. I counted the days till they arrived at my doorstep. I saw them all over Instagram and just had to get my hands on them. Needless to say, they are are in my possession. I know the review is long overdue and I apologize. Let's get started.
First and foremost, they are beyond creamy in texture. I really like lipsticks that don't dry your lips out or really seem to dry over time. These babies are wonderful. On top of being creamy they are pigmented like crazy. The colors are so vibrant and I think that's what I love the most. They do tend to stain the skin occasionally so beware of that. Like when I was taking the product off it got on my face it took some time rubbing it off. Besides that I really didn't notice anything bad about these lipsticks. I had the opportunity to buy six of them off the NYX website and really regret the ones I chose. I really wished that I would have purchased the violet and the orange instead of the lime and white. The color pay-off in these were decent just hated the lack of coverage. Other than that I really love theses. I wear them pretty often, probably more than I should... I'm crazy for those bold looks. If you're brave, I'd say go ahead and try them. They really do let your personality show through and very affordable at $6.
Well I really hope you enjoyed this review,
