24. Beauty Blogger. Photographer. YouTuber
Essentially beauty speaks to me in ways I can't explain. A few years ago I began my journey of self-discovery. I thought I wanted to become a poet then a photographer. I was lost and had no idea what I was most passionate about. I have always been a creative person but didn't think of myself as an artist. Makeup was just something that I tried and it stuck. In 2011 I started experimenting with color.I didn't know much at that point. Used one brush or fingertips and had no idea that blending was key. It wasn't until 2014 that I began studying and learning from the beauty industry. Linda Hallberg is my biggest inspiration for this blog and most of my work. Before I knew about her I was inspired by Carmindy from "What Not to Wear." The idea to help people feel beautiful inside and out drew me in. The way you can enhance natural features to feel confident enthralled me as I was a wallflower. At the end of that year I hit my biggest milestone. I created 100 looks all unique on their own. I felt unstoppable. Social media was next on the list. Instagram was everything. I started a beauty account of my work and comments came in. It was thrilling when it was praise and when it was slander I began to doubt myself. Unfortunately it happens to the best of us. Posted less. Became depressed felt like giving up but I knew I had a gift so I pushed on. In the present year (2015) I created a new Instagram handle and started over. No more mobile photos or selfies. I wanted to give myself a new perspective. ChaotikPerspektive was born. I found my niche. I am Chelsea Jessica of Chaotik Beauty.
